Microsoft reagierte sehr schnell auf die aktuelle Bedrohung durch den Zero-Day-Exploit und hat nun kleine Softwareupdates (”Patches”) veröffentlicht: Im Microsoft Security Bulletin MS08-078 finden sich dazu alle notwendigen Links unter denen man sich den Patch herunterladen kann.

Das dürfte jedoch bei den meisten nicht nötig sein denn jeder der Automatische Updates eingestellt hat bekommt den Patch bequem automatisch zugespielt.

Wer sich nicht sicher ist sollte auf die Microsoft Update Seite gehen und unter “schnellsuche” Sicherheitsupdates herunterladen. Mehr über den Patch erfahren Profis übrigens in der Knowlegde Base.
