Microsoft hat am Dienstag, 28. Juli 2009, gegen 19.00 Uhr deutscher Zeit zwei außerplanmäßige Sicherheitsupdates veröffentlicht. Die Updates betreffen alle unterstützten Versionen des Windows Internet Explorer (Internet Explorer 5, 6, 7 und 8 für Windows 2000, Windows XP und Windows Vista sowie Windows Server 2003 und Windows Server 2008) sowie die Visual Studio-Produktfamilie (Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003, 2005, 2008 sowie Visual C++ 2005 und 2008).

Wir empfehlen dringend, die verfügbaren Sicherheitsupdates umgehend und direkt über Microsoft Update zu installieren.
